    Function bearingAndDistance

    • Computes the initial great-circle bearing and distance from one geographic position to another. Combines bearing and distanceNm into a single call.

      Parameters

      • lat1: number

        Latitude of the start point in decimal degrees.

      • lon1: number

        Longitude of the start point in decimal degrees.

      • lat2: number

        Latitude of the end point in decimal degrees.

      • lon2: number

        Longitude of the end point in decimal degrees.

      Returns greatCircle.BearingAndDistance

      Object containing bearingDeg (0-360) and distanceNm.
